So it turns out that this only affects machines who have 'auto-updates' turned on. But that still keeps me wondering how this wasn't caught earlier.

What I don't understand about this Global IT outage through CrowdStrike is how they rolled out software updates. Typically, you would roll these out incrementally to 10%, then 50%, and when everything is fine, to 100% of the users. It seems that this hasn't happened here.

Honestly, @retool is very very hard to hate. Loving it for so many reason, will even more while I fall into its rabbit hole of simplicity with almost everything you would want. One of my prefered tool. Bravo !
