We have got enough data centres for now, together nearing 3 GW capacity! Good for office space commitments by big companies & many mid & small-scale IT investments. These are the things we need in the next 5-7 years to happen in #Visakhapatnam...💯

@NuthiSanthan If that ORR is either NH-16 extensions or a longer regional bypass with a 4-lane specifications, then the dream of Vizag to have an ORR like Hyderabad, Chennai and even Amaravati is just dead!

My opinion on roads - NITI Aayog's report on Visakha Economic Region: Positive: 👍🏻 4-lane beach road sections totalling > 300 km from Kakinada to Mulapeta. 🤩 Footpaths + cycling tracks needed. Negative: 👎🏻 Poor vision on ORR & bypass specifications (not even 6-lane!)

Somewhat disappointing. Let's see if it actually helps uplift the entire North Andhra altogether, with my suggestion also coming true. And governments' focus & vision should expand beyond GVMC, all the way to Narsipatnam, S.Kota, Nellimarla, Srikakulam, etc.

NITI Aayog's report merged the proposed Rambilli-Bhogapuram SRR with the existing NH-16 section. And proposed a new 4-lane regional bypass connecting Kakinada & Mulapeta. In that case, I suggest the regional bypass be expandable to the standards of Hyd ORR with 8+2 lanes.

@ScribblinSprrow Yes, until unless these data centres really attract some latency-reliant firms to relocate or expand, getting data centres & its hype is like రోజుల తరబడి తిండిలేని బిచ్చగాడికి పాచిపోయిన అన్నం పిడచ దొరికినట్లు. ఏదో ఒకటి వచ్చిందిలే, కనీసం న్యూస్లో buzz అయినా ఉంటుందని ఆనందపడడం.
