Everybody wants to be self-made, but the reality is we are all made. We just need to have the humility and presence of mind to remember that at all times.

On this day we remember a great man. One who stood for the unity and prosperity of Africa, our emancipation from those who wish to break us and for the rise of the African continent and her people. A husband, a father and a Pan-Africanist. ๐ค๐คฒ๐พ

Ali was always a lover of music, and for him witnessing the emergence of young talented Tanzanian artists was something he was very proud of. Safe to say when he met @VanessaMdee he was very happy.

Despite growth in Africa, we must not mistake hype for reality; we must not mistake hope for achievement. Progress has been made, but more can be achieved. I believe it is possible for Africa to rise, but it will not do so until we work differently.
