Now, when someone asks for "Calicut". → LLM also passes "Kozhikode" to MCP.→ Fuzzy Search returns matching "Kozhikkode".→ MCP returns station code : CLT. Reliable results. No hallucinated station codes.

Step 2:. Perform fuzzy search using Fuse.js. Search names & variations on IRCTC station list array ( 8K station names ). Match station names with typo tolerance rather than usual .includes() method. Benefit: .it can returns "Changanassery" when searched for "Changanacherry".

Solution:. Implemented a fuzzy search tool-call to return station code . Step 1: . Let the LLM pass variations/alternative station names in MCP request parameters. Eg,."Kochi" → also send "Ernakulam". "Hyderabad" → include "Secunderabad"

One of the problems I faced while building Railways MCP. LLMs were hallucinating station codes. Eg:.Asked for Dharmadam → it returned station code DRM .But actual code is DMD. This broke train search and availability checks.
