When your sessions are at the same time, mentorship requires comfy shoes. So proud of Dr. Beth Atoma presenting her research on improving mechanical ventilation in LMIC. She's going to crush it in fellowship next year. #ats2024 @ATS_BSHSR @MPLS_CCDOR @UMN_DOMResearch

Lung cancer in people who have never smoked is rising. Today we asked "Is it in the air?". Vaping, cannabis, air pollution, and more. What an amazing group of speakers. @atstoa @atscommunity #ats2024

Tobacco use remains a leading cause of pulmonary disease. Yet, little time is devoted to tobacco dependence treatment training and clinicians are minimally evaluated to ensure they are competent to provide this care. @amelzerMD π

Glad to see our work highlighted. For such a leading cause of death, clinicians get very little training. @MPLS_CCDOR @ATS_BSHSR @atstoa

Great opportunity today to present at the @GO2forLungCancr Summit today. Are incidental findings the most exciting part of lung cancer screening? Maybe not but ensuring we do (or don't!) follow them up is hugely important. @MPLS_CCDOR @AbbieBegnaud @UMN_DOMResearch

Really excited to hype this important paper from @monstrillious and colleagues about addressing anti-Black racism that patients experience during medical care. I'm excited for more tools to provide better care and to address with patients and colleagues. https://t.co/0QrLSlkP9e
