One of the things I love about Barkley is that most of the runners are not full-time professional athletes. Karel is a dentist, for example. Jasmin a vet. John a data scientist, etc etc.

My grandma turns 95 today. She walks several miles each morning, uses lard on her toast, still gets up on a ladder to clean her own gutters, and finishes each night with a glass of vodka (plastic handle brands, no ice).
