“Grip it & rip it”… There’s more to it than that as Mason explains. Find the grip you’re comfortable with, understand WHY it moves (or doesn’t move) & build on that. Finding different ways to execute & refining your skills is imperative for long term survival on the mound.

If the average miss in the MLB is 12.7” with a 4-seam fastball, why is there an expectation that HS pitchers should hit their spot every pitch?

But we still have HS pitchers pitching 2-3 times in January throwing 100+ pitches after ramping up for 3-4 weeks.. 🤦🏼♂️

Someone can be excellent at repairing your elbow and that would give them no insight into why your elbow needs repair in the first place (from a longitudinal etiology standpoint)

We have a long ways to go with pitching in youth baseball. Teams throwing kids 2x per day, 4x over two days, 150+ pitches over 3-4 days. All for the W. And we wonder why arm injuries have 🚀!!
