On this day 6 years ago my battle with

began. I had seen a doc before who told me it was a hydrocele that would go away on it’s own. It didn’t. A surgery, 4 months of chemo and then another major surgery and I’m still here to tell the story.

. This past Friday I got the call from my oncologist that my scans and x-rays were all clear and no longer needed. Just a blood test once a year is all. That’s worth celebrating.

Just watched a hockey team of 8/9 year olds use full ice for a practice. They spent about 20 minutes of the hour setting up, and if the kids were lucky they got one touch of the puck while the others were unengaged. Small area games are much better! We have to re-think

The kids were starstruck. He chatted for 5 mins asking about their team and how they were doing. The sport gets a lot of bad press, but there are great kids playing in the league that don’t get the props they should. He wanted to do this and wasn’t forced. Made fans for life. 2/2

The absolute BEST thing in junior hockey. There’s nothing like a night out at the Wolves game followed up with a great Sudbury pizza and a couple cold ones! Pair it with some Porketta bingo on Saturday and that’s a weekend for the ages.
