Just 11 days into the House Settlement and there’s already chaos. The new College Sports Commission says most NIL collective deals don’t serve a valid business purpose and won’t be approved. That effectively bans collectives from making NIL deals… and now attorneys say it.

Why has the @NHL been so focused on an 84 game schedule? It doesn’t make any sense to me. Shorten the pre-season and keep it at 82 games. With the addition of Olympics/World Cup again, this is going to be a ton of hockey for some guys. The $ benefits will be minimal, no?.

No matter what CHL teams claim, it’s almost impossible for them to be able to compete with NIL money that the big schools can spend. Going to be interesting to see how the CHL levels things out…because they’ll have to or get left behind.

With their second import selection, @KingstonFronts have taken big defenceman Adam Goljer out of HK Dukla Trencin. A Trencin native, he spent much of this year with Slovakia internationally. In 2023-24 as a 15 year old, he had 21 points in 41 games with U20 HK Dukla Trencin.

With their first import selection, @KingstonFronts draft Max Westergård out of Frolunda HC. Put up 50 pts in 41 games with the U20 team and had 20 pts in 23 games for Finland U18 internationally. 5’11” winger who is drafted by @NHLFlyers.
