Older generations lived without so many things GenZ takes for granted, saving so much money. No monthly cable, internet, (multiple) cell phone bills per month. No computer, one tv, one car, small house. Eat out at a restaurant only on your birthday. Take your food to work/school
Older generations say “we all struggled in our 20s.” No, you didn’t. You didn’t pay $2,200 for rent and $7 for eggs. You didn’t graduate into $50K student debt and $0 job security. Gen Z isn’t dramatic. They’re drowning.

It’s kind of like watching Idiocracy come alive! These two are going to breed and produce more like themselves.

I JUST got off the phone with one of the kids and then I saw this. He wants to buy some rare and expensive cat. He is still hopping entry level jobs in his late 20s. He plans to get service papers for the cat so he can keep it in his apartment without extra charge, the way his

This is terrifying. These are robots that look like space zombies. I was nine when The Black Hole came out. Disney turned amazing robots and fantastic space travel in to a nightmare of murderous robots and space zombies. I stopped wanting to be an astronaut before I left the

This is another situation where Congress has delegated away the powers it was granted. Now it has to pass laws to negate that delegation. Few presidents will sign a bill that reduces the power they have, so Congress needs to be able to work together to override vetos to pass the
Just to remind everyone: It is absolutely nuts that a single person is wreaking total havoc on the global economy, and doing it by exercising powers that the Constitution explicitly (and for good reason) reserves for Congress. This is not OK, and we shouldn't pretend it is.

I think that was the basis of every Jello-O mold recipe in the 1960s. 1) Cut up some [food name goes here]. 2) Make [color, green is preferred] Jell-O. 3) Whip in some mayo. 4) Mix it all together. 5) Pour in to mold. 6) Refrigerate until firm. Your dinner’s main course is

Nobody was surprised by big tariffs on April 2. Trump crowed about it for a month. Tariffs can be added or removed on either side at any moment. There was no rush from our friendly trading partners to fix what Trump was clearly saying was a problem that he was going to fix with
The country is 100% behind the president on fixing a global system of tariffs that has disadvantaged the country. But, business is a confidence game and confidence depends on trust. President @realDonaldTrump has elevated the tariff issue to the most important geopolitical

Interesting take on the benefits of sweatshops and child labor.
Nike won't build factories in the U.S. to make sneakers. That would add more cost than the 40% tariffs. Plus, they need to stay competitive selling to customers in other countries that don't impose tariffs. The result will be fewer sneakers sold in the U.S. at much higher prices.

It’s almost like the Castaways are finally getting off the island. BTW, the last original Gilligan’s Island cast member still alive is Tina Louise (Ginger Rogers). She turned 91 just last month. I always wondered if the Bob’s Burgers creator was a fan of hers since he named
2 US astronauts are returning home today after 9 months in space on what was originally at 10 day mission - they are coming home because of @elonmusk and yet the network morning shows won’t mention this

Kidding, right? That’s exactly how the Affordable Care act was put in place. If I remember right, President Obama said that he knew it wasn’t good but it would get better as we fix what is wrong with it. Iterate to a better solution each time you adjust it.

I don’t think we need less employees but I think we could do with fewer employees as long as they get the job done.
Turning our backs on those who served our country is disgraceful. The VA needs more employees, not less. In my district, the Minneapolis VA is already facing a staffing shortage. Miss me with your calls for “America First” while blatantly attacking our veterans.

BREAKING: The Trump administration plans to cut over 80,000 employees from Veterans Affairs, according to an internal memo.

I kind of would rather use the framing of asking why she ruled this way. The framing of why she didn’t uphold a political allegiance after she was sworn in to uphold the Constitution isn’t really useful. If any justice anywhere is actually ruling to favor a politician or other
@mazemoore @EricLDaugh Why would she turn so radically against the President that appointed her?
