I remember this day. I was 9 years old and I remember feeling that this cocaine thing is definitely cooler than Blue Peter. I've flip flopped on that ever since and now I'm pretty sure neither are cool. Richard is though.
On this day in 1998 Richard Bacon was fired from Blue Peter after The News of the World published a report of him taking cocaine. Biddy Baxter called him into her office and made him return his Blue Peter badge and his Blue Peter gun.
