My 2020 macbook air is officially #cooked. i cannot even run a lightweight 101 game world series simulator model these days. I’m trying to delay the inevitable but I need (want) a macbook pro m5. In the meantime, X isn't requiring too much compute power.🙏🏽

Bumgarner was the best postseason pitching performance I have ever seen. Statistically, it seems like he still has the upper hand. However, if you value the shorter rest from Yamamoto it’s possible to argue this performance is better. Personally, I’m unsure. Insane regardless.

In one of their more recent blogs, Anthropic detailed that a lot of their employees use Claude Code as their daily LLM interface of choice for non-coding tasks. It has slowly turned into that for me.

Using Claude Code for plenty of things other than just writing code. I find that it is a lot better at utilizing tools to perform a variety of tasks that, really, are best accomplished through the terminal. Currently using it to reformat a paper to match a journal's requirements.

Heard @drivelinekyle during a meeting say something along the lines of “people likely won’t care about something until they do.” Eventually seemingly obvious conclusions become mainstream and are portrayed as a “new revelation”. For us, this is nothing new. It’s just confirmation
