I'm not normally one to share personal life-information on the🐦 but it's been two weeks (already?! 😱) so it seems pretty timely to announce officially that we not-so-secretly eloped recently 🕵️♀️🕵️♂️! . (And also I'm super in ❤️with the super artistic photos our friends took 😁😁)

I cannot emphasize enough that choosing euthanasia over public management was utterly outrageous and the wrong decision. Governments please use your experts & your common sense. I am so completely ashamed & disgusted to be an (almost) Norwegian citizen today. #FreyaTheWalrus.
Maybe instead of killing Freya the walrus they could post a public official or police officer to manage and educate the public whist this unique and special animal is visiting . just saying @NorwayMFA @NorwayinUK @visitnorway

Ps. Looked up at one point to see this amazing bird of prey nest (?) 🦅 just above my head. Very shakey vid but you can just about see what I think is a meal being prepared and some unfortunate prey feathers floating on the breeze 💨. (@York_Minster)

The first time I have ever seen marmot pups this young and boy oh boy is it the best thing ever 😍❤.
Spotted today, the tiny, endangered Vancouver Island Marmot pups snuggled into Flash are no more than a few hours old. This is the 1st time we've seen pups this young, thanks to nest box camera installed last year. They won't emerge from the nest box for another month.
