There is plenty to complain about in UK HE at the moment but a lot of the environment and atmosphere can be raised by academics supporting each other…that is within our power…it is a choice not to bother!.

It was a lot fun of visiting the fine folks of @ScienceShef @S_M_Sheffield, it's a great place for #SingleMolecules work! Lots of synergy, not only bacterial biofilms, DNA remodelling enzymes. but also medically relevant condensates and assemblies! Thanks all 😍🔬🧑🔬.
It was a pleasure hosting @alex_paynedwyer yesterday in Sheffield 👏🏼👏🏼🎉 He gave a brilliant seminar talk about #SingleMolecules on bacteria cells showing us incredible and versatile tools and there were very interesting discussions -> hopefully🤞🏼➕ collaborations York-Sheffield!
