In 2019 when I first thought about looking at donor time to death as an audit, I had no idea it would lead to 3 key papers challenging our understanding & practice in DCD Tx:. 🔑 Liver 🔑 SPK 🔑 Kidney
Amazing to see this published in @JAMANetworkOpen after so much work from a great team 🎉. ❓ Does #DCD donor time to death impact kidney transplant outcomes?.🔑 We assessed this in a UK cohort, where the minimum stand-down time is 3 hours!. ⬇️ Full #OpenAccess paper
