Opening day of deer season (HP Rifle) in Nebraska. Numbers are suffering around us, so we didn’t worry about hunting. Working on a deck though, and it’s coming along nicely. As far as deer season goes, I’m open to any and all pictures. Love cheering on fellow outdoorsmen/women

Finally listening to @heykayadams on @BussinWTB and wanting a pet fox. The exact scenario she describes happened to us when we were kids. Found a kit, and then raised it as if it were a dog. Hexter was his name, and he’s still the coolest pet we had as a kid.

Few blacks, few reds, and at a fair price. Going to make some quality cows, I just don’t have the grass to keep them all.
Picked out the heifers I’m keeping back. Everyone else is for sale. $3000/head $3750/head if you want me to keep them to A.I them. And if they’ve gotta come back to my farm after it’ll be $50/week until they are gone.

As a cattleman, nothing pisses me off more when off colored calves are sorted and discounted. It’s the biggest bunch of bs I’ve ever known. Same inputs, same pounds, should always be the same price.
I don't know if I should laugh or cry I know for sure it makes me feel old and know I have been around the cattle business awhile Off colored calves are being discounted more per CWT than the total price per CWT of cows i sold in the past #IYKYK
