This stuff is fun and cheap to grow. It has so many uses. It really shines with its utility when corn is under the cost of production. Here’s something your grandfather understood well: Farms and livestock go together like bread and butter.

Almost 12” since I posted this. Absolutely wild that in Western Nebraska we don’t know if we are on the heels of a the next 3-year drought or one of the rainiest 45-day stretches of this century. Glad it was the latter 🤠.
Looks to me like the downy brome has given up. If the forecast of no rain, heat and wind holds for the state of Nebraska, things are going to look very different in 7 days.
