Moved my personal site to @bunjavascript today. Painless process. I replaced `pnpm` with `bun` and was good to go. @vercel even auto-detected bun. 🚀 Very fun to see 8.6s install become 350ms. Looking forward to seeing better Windows and Node.js compatibility.

Thanks a lot to everybody who shared the tool, found it interesting, and especially those leaving kind comments. It has been a lot of work building, and I'm so happy to finally see others liking it too.

I don't usually pay attention to new JavaScript frameworks; I've used Next.js since 2018. But what @builderio is doing with @QwikDev (and their other libs) has been keeping me up at night lately. Absolute genius! 🧠. Can't wait for performance to become a first-class citizen! 🚀.

Although a mathematically unsatisfactory solution to the problem, it does work surprisingly well. And the fitting algorithm seen in the videos is very primitive and can be improved significantly. You can take a look at the code here:.

I'm fitting a B-spline to a set of pseudo-control points. In magenta, you see the traditional B-spline that would follow from the user-specified control points. In cyan, you see a B-spline fit to pass through the specified control points.

After watching @FreyaHolmer's exceptional new video, The Continuity of Splines, I, too, longed for a spline that would pass through points with C2 continuity. And, lo and behold, I managed to create one! Although with a bit of cheating. 😬. #Math #Mathematics #Geometry
