One of the things that solidified my intent to pivot into Tech was the fact that it was more project driven rather than by certificates. 7+ yrs later and it's still the same, except for some specialised roles especially in research most roles are based on your ability to deliver.
None of my AI/ML engineering interviews made any emphasis on my degree or grades. they were more focused on the core AI/ML stuffs. My first remote AI Engineering job that I got during my final year at uni. the startup was more interested in me being done with uni. fast.
