@GCRF-funded project developing the science & communication of extreme weather in tropical Africa: Science for Weather Information & Forecasting Techniques
Leeds
Joined January 2018
A new NCAS project in collaboration with several swift partners including @UK_CEH @WMO also @KulimaIDS @SAWeatherServic @ZambiaWeather INAM - National Institute of Meteorology @TyrskyConsult.
On #WorldMetDay, we announce our new project with African weather services. A team led by @AtmosScience @UniversityLeeds have been awarded £2m to transform access to early weather warning systems for communities in South Africa, Zambia, and Mozambique.
