Its very odd that so many Bitcoiners still believe that justice and the rule of law exist in this country. We have more than a century of evidence to the contrary. You are ruled by vile criminals, update your threat models. And no, I wont sign your Stockholm syndrome petition.

Sorry but im not gonna sign your petition to have the Samourai devs pardoned. I completely agree that their imprisonment is unjust, but if you think petitioning the state is the answer, you do not understand the problem.

The #BIP444 soft fork proposed by the blockspace hypochondriacs at knots will freeze people's bitcoin and make them unspendable. No soft fork in Bitcoin's history has ever done this. This filter obsession is becoming manic.

The "Reduced Data Temporary Softfork" BIP proposes temporarily disabling various Bitcoin features in consensus. I have surveyed the blockchain to quantify the potential impact, by identifying historic transactions that violate each of these rules. 🧵↓

When people say, "Bitcoin is money" it doesn't fully encompass what Bitcoin actually is. Bitcoin is ledger money and ledger money suffers from having to maintain a database. The fact that Bitcoin is inherently a database means that there are endless ways to store data on it.

Funny how some Bitcoiners have been psyop’d into thinking Bitcoin needs government permission to survive.

Bitcoin is a tool and unfortunately tools can be used for horrendous things. This is a reality of life. The fact that Bitcoin still persists despite this reality is a feature not a bug. Satoshi sends his regards. #Whitepaper

You own your node but you don't own the blockchain. Blockspace belongs to whoever purchases it. Free markets don't care about your opinion.

Ive been calling out Ocean as rotten for years as they continue to lie to the community about their pool being decentralized and permissionless. It should be no surprise that @lukedashjr and @GrassFedBitcoin are lying again and threatening miners to adopt their fork proposal.

The new filterboi fork BIP 444 has already been rendered useless. Tune in next week for more steganography whack-a-mole 🤡

Done with a decade old script that doesn't even use segwit, let alone taproot. 100% standard and fully compatible with @LukeDashjr's BIP-444.

@brian_trollz The BIP 444 proposal is incredibly bad A bad actor who wants to conduct a double spend attack, could put CSAM onchain to cause a re-org and succed with their attack The proposal therefore provides an economic incentive for onchain CSAM

The new softfork (BIP 444) proposed by the filterbois has verbiage that you would see in a government mandated soft fork. These people have become completely disconnected from the reality of how Bitcoin functions, its value proposition, and its security model. Disavow them.

If you think that any relay policy change could possibly kill bitcoin then bitcoin is a failed project. Bitcoin is fully dependent on the ability of its consensus rules (backed by proof of work and the difficulty adjustment) to sufficiently align the incentives of network

Pretending your node has influence over others in the #Bitcoin network is like pretending your opinion has influence over others in a free market. Unless you are participating in the market, you are irrelevant. In Bitcoin, participating comes from of buying/selling blockspace.

Bitcoin's p2p relay network is not bitcoin. It is an open censorship resistant relay network to communicate bitcoin transaction information to miners - consensus rules define bitcoin. The p2p layer competes on a free market with every other method to communicate with miners.

New simulations confirm that filters don't work beyond virtue signalling. Even with 90% adoption of filters, almost all transactions reach non-filtering nodes (miners). Simulations were conducted by Laurent, a strong supporter of the filter ideology. I love cold hard data.

At 90% of adoption, the situation worsens on all fronts. At this point some transactions don't reach all non-filtering nodes.
