150 minutes of moderate or vigorous physical activity per week can help significantly reduce health issues. How much is enough? This will look different for everybody. Moderate means that you won’t be able to sing while you’re doing it. Vigorous means you won’t be able to talk.

Use it or lose it! Hippocrates believed that if you exercise the body, it ages more slowly. Small movements every day can help you maintain an active lifestyle. Why not try some of these moves from We Are Undefeatable and comedian Bill Bailey! https://t.co/PpGWCDQvDI

I really enjoy deadlifts - having started after 50. This “what do you expect at your age” type narrative is unhelpful & at worse, robs people of healthspan. Get a good PT (& Physio if needed) and enjoy healthy ageing aspiration.

A recent podcast with Stu McGill has gone ‘viral’ with him claiming many outdated and unsupported things for back pain! Including no-one over the age of 50 should try and push themselves for a personal best on deadlifts! These are my thoughts on that… strap in! 😎🍿

Just met a 60 yr old man - 18/12 ago told to stop running by GP and Orthopod as it would wear out his knees - he had knee pain and OA on MRI. I advised to get strong and keep running. He said he is now running faster than 10 yrs ago - with no pain 😀. The human body is so cool.

Lots of recent chat about pushing for deadlift PBs after age 50. So here’s 67year old me at 70kg body weight on my last set of 5x5x120kg.
