Actually, being the more senior player, NHL locker room custom has it that Necas should offer his 88 to Burns. But I’m sure Burns will take a different number.
Burns goes to Carolina and can't wear #88 because of Necas. So he wears #8. Signs with the Avs and can't wear #88 because Necas. Can't wear #8 because of Makar. What's he gonna wear?. #GoAvsGo
