Totally understand the sentiment behind this but I’d argue that both problems would be solved by simply adopting a similar ‘clock’ to futsal; where it stops whenever the ball is out of play or there is an interruption, so as to ensure ‘playing time’ is actually spent playing.

In addition to essential qualities, students we asked to consider what constitutes 'best practice' for a performance coach; discussing what's essential vs. desirable criteria. We've talked about the 'age', 'stage' and 'pro/am' status of coach as being key influencers too.
Today, in our BTEC Sport class we've been thinking about what qualities are 'essential' for a performance coach. Students have contributed to this and started creating their own posters for Unit 8: Coaching for Performance.

Game Intensity Index (GII). Given the FA’s revamp of youth game formats, I think it’s worthwhile reminding ourselves of a simple equation we can use to adjust the size & ‘intensity’ of the training game we design. GII = Pitch Area / no. of outfield players. @SundayShare10

4 squares exercise with 2 pug nets to attack and defend. 1 neutral on each side (2 neutrals on pug nets side) . Few constraints: . To score you need to overload the rectangle you are scoring with more players than the opponent and first touch to score. Lot of combinations
