Is it time to connect and support each other through the discrimination in the game…from constant micro aggressions to outright hate. Enough is enough.
There's no organisation which genuinely represents the interests of football coaches who can often be the target of hate speech and discrimination. But we're stronger together! If you think enough really is enough, then sign the form below https://t.co/CZSH102gi6

Jamie has become one of the most important and influential thinkers in football coaching. His work is striking a chord with coaches, players and fans, at all levels of the game. 👇👇

100% .. sadly this video was recently being shared as an example of the the development of "skilful players" by other countries.
Don’t fall into this trap: they’re not learning football. They’re learning movements. Research shows skill doesn’t emerge from isolated drills or repetition but from contextual play. Learning the game means adapting, perceiving& making decisions within the game’s dynamic reality.

An end to the relentless and exhausting control of the game by adults… overcoaching, over analysis, angst etc from the youngest ages. Start putting the voices of children and young people first. Give. Them. Back. Their. Game ✊🏻⚽️
If you could change ONE thing about youth football right now, what would it be? What change matters most? 🤔 #MakingTheBallRoll

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves 👏🏻👏🏻 Time to burst the bubble on an industry built on false claims and fake “elitism”.

We often criticise our own sports for poor practice regarding selection and focus on scorelines etc. What about schools? When you see local schools selecting at 11 and publishing totally one-way, double digit scorelines, you've got to wonder about the approach to 'coaching'?

It's hard to understand why other sports are interested enough in Rovers' practice to visit. We've never had a visit from The FA (despite repeated invitations over the 10 years). @KNVB have visited though! Isn't it time to discuss rights based practice? https://t.co/R6b4VfEjaH

In ten years of running this club, I’ve seen endless initiatives & incentives to expand the so-called “girls’ game” which have now created a sense that young children MUST be segregated to play football. How did we end up here in 2025?

There’s so much more to football than the scoreline.

Times can seem pretty bleak. But the promise of youth remains. Car journey back from our men's team match yesterday. Conversation turns to politics. All lads in car are appalled by far right. One said ... it has made me register to vote.✊ BELIEVE and RESPECT.
