Finally turned this on. Not so much because of what I personally experienced in terms of model output but just because the router's responsiveness was very poor. I had a few prompts that were unanswered. For those calling for death of software - it is hard and even the geniuses

Quite bewildered at this paper. Great insight here on the crux. Wondering if someone did a basic study of FLOPs used to play tic-tac-toe and compared between a simple Min Max algorithm to what a neural net would do.
Now the time for that bigger insight:. Stockfish engine is littered with all kind of complexities built with traditional computational primitives of conditionals, branching, data movements and so on. What DeepMind paper points to is that all of these can potentially be distilled.
