Added the ability to save/reset your machine's current state (position, speed, rotation etc etc) to the practice mode today and immediately used it to figure out a drill dive strategy that I knew was possible on the new Super Cylinder layout LOL

I did something similar in "Fatal Fire Works" on the last long straightaway of the track; originally, you were just upside down above rocky ground. It didn't feel dangerous enough.
I added lava. Instantly made it feel a ton more frantic and deadly

The machine constantly builds HEAT and speed. You need to boost in order to exhaust that heat, or risk exploding. Survive as long as you can! The speeds get out of hand.

The lava didn't change anything gameplay wise; with and without, you still get launched to your death by the pyrotechnics. But the lava just made it 400% more obvious what would happen to you.

Hot Take: as funny as ragdoll physics can be sometimes, bespoke goofy falling/flailing/bracing animations where the character is essentially a kinematic box or sphere bouncing around are so much more fun and full of personality

Uniform can create low poly game assets by sculpting directly to textures, creating the normal map in real time. No high poly meshes, no retopo, no baking.
These the same geometry based tools used for high poly sculpting that properly react to surface shape and displacement.

Hand-drawn lines that "inflate" based upon distance and FOV of the current camera are now super easy to setup and apply to environment models. This in addition to the new lighting should make Aero GPX have the "moving comic book" look I've always wanted.
