I recently read a biography of Ulysses S Grant and learned a lot about the work he did during reconstruction. I kept thinking of the similarities between then and now. We could use a leader like that now.

This accomplishes a few things. 1. It keeps the nice conference road trips of San Marcos and San Diego on opposite years.2. Every year we have a traditional Pac 12 home game with either OSU or Wazzu.3. Keeps one close-ish road game with either Wyoming or Utah St.

What could have been with this gem. I hope the current have's in the BIG/SEC and ACC/Big 12 read the history of what happened to this conference and learn from what happens when things get too large for stability. Then again, I hope they don't. .

The new Pac 12 deal has a big change from the existing MW deal. Instead of games streaming on whatever backwoods platform CBS Sports Network used it's now on Paramount+ which is available on nearly every device.
