The entirety of US housing policy is being set by SF tech founders. Everything revolves around getting more studios and one beds for 24 year old men with no connection to community.

moving to sf is brutal. you don’t know anyone, so you look for a short-term rental. open airbnb and it’s all 100-year-old run-down victorians going for $6k a month. sf needs a hostel, backed by tech money, built for immigrants and young founders trying to break into the city.

He's right. We don't have an opposition party. Democratic leaders won't fight and there's a gap that will be filled, either by a disciplined Left committed to uplifting working people and taking on corporate greed or more right wing populism.

Trump comments on the opposition: "I  thought [I] would be met with fury on the left, but they're sort of giving up."  "I really thought that we were gonna have to sort of fight it through. There's been no fight."

BREAKING: In a shocking revelation, over 30% of Arkansas farmers, who voted overwhelmingly for Trump, are forecasted to go bankrupt by next year because of Trump's disastrous tariffs unless given emergency funds. 🚨This should be a much bigger story. https://t.co/U8hABnDKoa

The covid positive subreddit is a complete shit show, total public health train wreck. You've got people in their 20s up to their ninth or tenth infection and now riddled with chronic health issues. It's outrageous how covid was normalised
