Couldnāt agree more. and, I havenāt been able to see a long 3 point basket since about 1994 without hearing Slickās voice say āBoom Babyā in my head. Come to think about it, maybe I should see someone about that. Godspeed Mr. Leonard!.
Slick Leonard is the most important sports figure in Indianapolis history. More than Peyton and Reggie, because without Slick, thereās a strong chance neither wouldāve had professional careers in this city. Itās impossible to overstate his impact. R.I.P. to an Indiana legend.
