There was an old VHS called "Dazzling Dunks & Basketball Bloopers" where Layden traveled around the league to ask players "dunks or bloopers?" I must've watched it 83980436 times. He was a legendary character and his silly video sparked my love of the NBA as a kid. R.I.P.
Frank Layden made a lasting impact on the Jazz, the state of Utah, and the NBA. There will never be another like him. Our thoughts go out to his family as we join in mourning his loss and celebrating his life. Rest easy, Coach 💜

Pro or anti-expansion feelings aside, I strongly disagree with the implication that the tournament would fade away and die by staying at 68 teams.
It’s just funny to me that so many people have decided that 68 is the one and ONLY perfect number!! And any change to that is ruinous!. Like I said I am fine leaving it as it is. I am more anti-anti-expansion than pro-expansion. I am thinking like Netflix. The other side is.

Was at Abbott's no-hitter with my dad and it remains a core sports memory.
Thanks to former Yankees Pitcher Jim Abbott for throwing out tonight's ceremonial first pitch! ⚾️. Best known for the no-hitter he threw in pinstripes in 1993 at Yankee Stadium, Abbott, who was born without a right hand, has been an inspiration and role model for children and

(this screenshot somehow ended up being me measuring the size of my forehead and I'll never forgive @AlanKarpick for it).
It's always good for me to chat with host @Schultz975 about #Purdue football, Rose Bowl series, state of @GoldandBlackcom and much more. It is 22 minutes of Gold and Black Radio bliss.

Turn it into a Pacers' bar. Tiki McBob's.
NEW: The Herb Simon family, which owns @PacersSportsEnt, has acquired two buildings on South Meridian Street in downtown Indianapolis—one of which was the subject of hundreds of police runs for violent incidents when it was a bar. My latest for @IBJnews:.

There are plenty of media folks who fly in for a few years and then fly out, but @ReporterEric really leaned into Indy and you could tell with everything he did. His stories were usually fun and always interesting and genuine. He'll be missed, but can't wait to see what's next!.
Indy, I’m saying goodbye. Friday will be my last day at @FOX59 and @CBS4Indy. Thank you for an incredible four years. I have lifelong memories at the Indy 500, celebrating outside Gainbridge and becoming a Hoosier. My wife and I love Indy, but it’s time to be closer to family.
