For Christmas, I want a high-end desktop running Linux. I hate the "game" macOS plays with disk space. I kinda miss Ubuntu but can also try other options. I'd never had to worry about disk space, even on a 256GB disk. My disk usage was "predictable", but never with macOS.

What?! /tmp mounted on RAM? I've always assumed it's on disk and gets "wiped" on system restarts
I've been using Linux for fkin years and I just realized /tmp is mounted on RAM, not disk. I feel so disappointed in myself. Someone revoke my sudo privileges asap.

I don't get the point to all these free/self-hostable email services. Email sending is more than the tech/infra. Deliverability is a huge part of email servicing that I'll happily outsource

@VitaeKate @FFmpeg so far i got 7560€ before taxes for my security work in the last 7 months. And thats why i would appreciate that google, facebook, amazon and others would pay me directly. Also that 7560 i only got after the twitter noise.
