If you made a horror movie in which the bad guys sent flying robots to drop grenades on women and children taking refuge in tents, it would seem too comically evil to be believable. But that's what Israel is doing in real life, right now, every day.

Update: there are no jobs left for us, so we have been asked to re-rank areas (which are very large) within an already large deanery, with no further guidance. We are meant to start work on 1st August.
I’m an upcoming F1 doctor. I’ve worked hard to do well in med school yet I’m still waiting for a job, in my 14th choice deanery, due to a new randomisation system. It’s likely I’ll be given a few weeks notice before I start my new job in a notoriously challenging sector.

Blood sample needed to go to hospital lab on ice. Lab don’t provide ice. No ice in hospital apparently. So we’ve just sent a blood sample to the lab in a frozen cottage pie 👍🏼

F1 allocation chaos by UKFPO continues. Medical students from one of the deaneries have been holding tight to get jobs (to re rank with their random rank) as they have been left as placeholders. They sent them an email today, as this was the date due for their new jobs, and

seeing med students in the US celebrating finishing medschool, getting placed in their dream specialties in locations they wanted,whilst students in the UK are viewed as nothing more than numbers to fill rotas whilst simultaneously having worst training+pay. yeah i’m done @UKFPO
Despite 6 years of medical school and never failing a single exam, I got put on a waiting list for a job… So disappointing @UKFPO

@amateuradam We’re not in a pandemic anymore (point 1); secondly he’s had it and double jabbed (point 2) so his chances of getting it again are minuscule; other than having a needless pop at Boris I don’t get your point (no swearing) - point 3.
