do I want my team to commit a bunch of penalties? of course not. They can cost you games. Does simply saying a team does or doesn't get penalties really say anything about a coach? Not really.

Penalties are always a strange data point to me. They never make the point people want them to make. The Vikings and Broncos are tied for 2nd in penalties per game. I think Kevin O'Connell is an outstanding coach. The Broncos are 8-2.
@_PeteSmith_ it goes beyond talent (even though it’s a pretty talent-needy team). They were the fifth-most penalized team last year, so yeah, probably top-10 in that matter over the last 2 That’s coaching, and it’s pretty concerning.

The Browns can fire Stefanski and be justified, just as the Titans were when they let go of Vrabel. But as I said at the time with the Titans, I don't think that's the play.

Titans fans said the same of Mike Vrabel
@_PeteSmith_ 6 more years and everything should be in perfect order. C’mon Pete.

no one argues the team needs an overhaul on the offensive line, another premium wide receiver and most importantly, a legit quarterback. Head coach doesn't change any of those issues.

19th in penalties. Whether it's Stefanski or anyone else, this team is desperate for talent on offense. The little it does have is producing
@_PeteSmith_ If having a bottom 3 offense and a bordeline bottom 10 most penalized team for 3 straight years is the goal, sure, keep Stefanski.

Would prefer to keep him

Stefanski was asked who made the call on 4th and less than 2. Stefanski put it all on himself, saying he owns all of the calls. That play was schemed, planned ahead of the week and deployed for that specific situation. They could've gone away from it, but they had it ready to go

FWIW, I don't know that Brian Daboll being fired helps with that issue or benefits the Giants at all, but that's their business.

Their first-round rookie QB has been evaluated for a concussion 4 times already, currently out with one. Which part of that do you feel is promising?
It's amazing how Brian Daboll gets fired while his offense has actually shown promise with Jaxson Dart, and yet Kevin Stefanski is running the worst offense in the sport, giving the same nonsense answers, and gainfully employed.

The Cleveland #Browns were embarrassed on the road in Week 10 by the hapless New York Jets, and while rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel had some of his best moments of the season, he also had his least accurate game from an accuracy charting perspective. From Sam Penix -->
