This @FraserInstitute bumph sho puts me in mind of a book i used years ago as an undergraduate "How to lie with statistics" It was about how advertising works to convince, not inform #cdnchildcare.

Great relevant headline in @MotherJones :."Florida man loses Canadian election".
Take that, @realDonaldTrump. My quick take on the election results that are still rolling in. #cdnpoli.

Yeah - such Godzilla-like mindless destruction of our public resources. Why do "the people of Ontario" need resources like Ontario Place, Science Centre, Greenbelt - let 'em eat cake, eh, fordnation?.
Well if there’s a better image of the destruction the Ford government wreaked at Ontario Place, I don’t know what it is. Terrible, terrible stewards of our public resources. #topoli #onpoli

Stephen Harper's TV ads urging Canadians to vote "only Pierre" to bring back the good ol' times under a Harper/Poilievre govt reminded me of this excellent analysis. Lest we (women) forget #cdnchildcare.

Wow this is a great explanation. for non-economists like me. Check it out. .
The Centre for @futurework_cda has dropped a new 3-min video in our 'Debunkers Academy' series: this one showing that 🇨🇦's economy can survive Trump's attacks, and is less dependent on exports than commonly assumed. Check out 'Not So Global': #canlab /2

This also goes for bringing back Harper #cdnchildcare policies. Be careful - would mean parents could lose $10-a-day fees and building the universal system we've begun @ChildCareON @Child_Care_Now @CCCF_FCSGE.
Harper cut health care spending and increased the age of eligibility for Old Age Security from 65 to 67. (Trudeau changed it back.). @PierrePoilievre says he wants to bring back Harper policies. Be careful what you vote for.

What the Cons did was to cancel the previous attempt to build a #cdnchildcare program (in 2006) before it got off the ground. We've been working on this one for several years, and will continue rolling it out. We're not going to go backward, @dimitrisoudas. Tell your friends.
@DimitrisSoudas It's rolling out as we speak. I get it - because it's not perfect - it's no good? What did the conservatives do on this? NADA.

You're right, @sarbjitkaur1, and that means a real national #cdnchildcare program - like the $10-a-day program we're trying to build!.
Do you know what would help women? And families with kids? National daycare program. Guess who brought that to Canada? Not this clock watcher.

Left out Re-established the long-form Census.
A little list I found on a friends page on FB. I think it sums up @PierrePoilievre 's rhetoric perfectly. Not to mention his non stop ranting about Canada being broken. #PierrePoilievreIsLyingToYou #cdnpoli #cdnpolitics #NeverVoteConservative
