Fifty-six hours working on my memoir in September. Not as much as I hoped, but progress. Bird by bird. Word by word.

Slept through my alarm after a nap. Instead of scolding myself like I used to, I remind myself that after writing a painful childhood incident, my psyche needs rest.

So special to meet @LauraCRobbins, author of Stash, virtually. “I didn’t have any secrets by the time I wrote this book.” We’re long past the fear of writing our memoirs. Grateful to @lisanapoli @jillconnection for a terrific program.
