@LavenderPumpki1 @cvramelpen @yurimaxed Yes, i do think so, that's why i think it's evil how people say you cant expect gratitude when you give so much already. We dont know the circumstances, it could be they adopt out of kindness, not because they couldnt conceive etc.

To my fellow adult adoptees. 6 months ago I petitioned for all my adoption information with the California Superior Court. Today I received a court order directing the Court Clerk, Dept of Vital Records, & the Dept. of Social Services to release all documents in the case file.

Adoptee rep that isnt just human or non human adopting human or non human. Adoption rep that isnt just happy. By technicality, adoptees have a lot of “rep” in the sense of there’s a lot of characters adopted. But very few media portrayals shows our actual complex experiences.

Adoptees aren’t obligated to give love or gratitude to the people who bought them. It’s gross to say we are egotistical cause we say we don’t owe our adopted parents gratitude. “That’s not the adopted parents obligation,” it is, it’s in the contract but they break that a lot.
