Edina SR Forward Kevin Delaney never made an A or AA team at EHA. He worked hard, battled from the B1/B2/J-Gold ranks to JV his SOPH & JR year. This year, he made the varsity and had 35 points in 31 games, including a pivotal goal and an assist in state title game.

In 2014, Cole Smith (Brainerd) had zero college offers after HS. Played 2 years in Manitoba Junior League (84 PTS) before he got the nod from North Dakota where he played 4 seasons (51 PTS).

Four women from the Gustavus hockey team were injured in a car crash early Sunday AM. Per the StarTribune, one of the players, Jori Jones (Little Canada/Roseville HS 2022), did not survive.

Prayers tonight for ROCH Century JR and YHH employee Austin Gibson. He was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma - Stage 2B a couple weeks ago.
He started chemo therapy this week and was discharged today. His prognosis is survivable if all goes well. Treatment will be 6-8 months.

Incredibly sad news out of Shakopee today after the passing of senior Saber girls hockey player Mikayla McCarvel due to injuries sustained in a late December car accident.
Our hearts are with the McCarvel family and the entire Shakopee community after this tragic loss.
