i see that the second paragraph of the above tweet might imply that camtel “had a demand for high performance”. not they did not. the “their” is referencing the international companies. at camtel, at times, i used to aide my direct superior to find the folder where documents.

i am so glad i left camtel very early in my career to focus on working with international companies. their demand for high performance prepared me for so much in terms of an out of cameroon audience. someone who has worked primarily with cameroonian companies might find it hard.

i am seeing someone currently fall out of grace with their manager because of bad internet connection. don’t go and find jobs working for remote companies if you do not have good internet connection. seeing someone lose a job because they can’t secure good internet. it’s sad.
