there are so many people and cultural forces out there desperately trying to sell you on the idea that thinking of yourself as powerful is “narcissism,” or otherwise bad and dangerous. but when you see what belief in this idea unlocks, the truth of it becomes SCORCHINGLY clear.

i’ve noticed a ton of self-help books present some idea that is “good” and here is some “scientific” “research” which “shows that” it is good and if you do this thing your life will be “better” but sadly most people do not know about the secret of the thing that is good ☹️.
