Last year Mike had a cardiac arrest at home and his partner Jen called 999, performed CPR until the ambulance arrived and Mike went on to make a full recovery. He and his partner then did some fundraising for @yas_charity Today he came to meet the crews who attended and helped

I spent the day with King County Medic One, Seattle. Here, if you have an out of hospital cardiac arrest, you have a 40-50% chance of survival. This is phenomenal, in contrast to the UK’s 8-10%! Interesting to see the different solutions to the same problems. @KingCoMedicOne

Tried #pickleball today for the first time. Played against @HullStrength (a badminton player) it was very enjoyable. Will have to play a bit more. Although I decided to dive for a point and friction burn my left palm 😣
