The club is devastated to hear the news that one of its current open age players passed away Christmas Day.
Nicholas Wade was a hard working, caring and committed person who took those attributes onto the pitch. A true wanderer.
Thoughts with his family, friends at this time.
A minutes silence held today in honour of Nicholas Wade at our reserves fixture against
@ilkleytown
.
A massive thank you to
@ilkleytown
for their condolences and show of respect for our friend and team mate.
Following the news yesterday of Nick Wade passing away the club have postponed tomorrow’s games as a mark of respect.
We would like to extend an invitation to all of Wadey’s friends and family to join us tomorrow at Scholes Cricket Club from 1pm to remember him.
Please RT!
On Friday hundreds of people attended the final farewell of Nick (Wadey) with a massive show of support for Charlotte and the families .The Love and Respect shown was overwhelming and a measure of how Nick touched all our lives.

No Weetabix hands here. Solid stuff from Leaper for yet another clean for the season. We are counting them too.
Credit to the defence as well who continue to show their quality in emergency defending.
