It has been crystal clear since the outbreak of the genocide that the police deliberately use flimsy charges that often end up dismissed by judges, in a naked attempt to sow fear among those of us taking to the streets to denounce one of the worst atrocities of our lifetimes.

On 24 July 2024, police violently arrested nine people at a WFFP protest outside the FCDO denouncing the British govt’s collusion with Israel. More than a year later, four of them were acquitted. On 13 August, the remaining five were informed all charges had been dropped.
