We did not attend the UK Together march yesterday because known Islamist groups, pro Iranian Regime groups & anti semites were in attendance, while it appears Jews were not permitted. We stand for women, we stand with our Iranian sisters, & we stand with our Jewish sisters.

We have supported Jewish female artists since our inception. This hand stitched piece called "Mourning Light" by Caren Garfen, created to mourn those massacred on Oct. 7th was enough to get her evicted from her artist circle. She has a place with us. Photo @LilyLilyMaynard

A woman is a female human adult. We platform primarily cancelled, censored & at risk feminist & women artists, creatives & activists- females. Women do not have penises. Our event was nearly cancelled by a trans activist last year, and @MForstater saved the day for us.

A Supreme Court ruling, countless successful tribunals and a reading public heartily sick of activists. All count for nothing if you are denounced as a Terrible Person. More on the censorship of my 25 year poetry retrospective Afterlife by Gutter magazine.

#UncancelRachelRooney Follow @RooneyRachel , and make sure to get a copy of her beautiful book if you have children who would benefit from it. She should never have been subjected to this vicious treatment, and she has an open invite to join us.
Great in-depth interview in the @Telegraph with the very talented @RooneyRachel about how a few vile bullies in the publishing industry ended her career. This should have been stopped but those who could have helped turned a blind eye. Archive version here:

Brava! We approve, and would love to see @HeatherB_WRN at the next Women Create International festival in it! Beautiful work.
Our very own @HeatherB_WRN in her brand new Afghan coat. Hand-made just for her by an Afghan seamstress and sent thousands of miles round the world 💜

We are appalled at the U.N being complicit in your abuse, and the conditions you are subjected to, and our hearts are with you. #SaveAfghanWomenAndGirls

Dear Afghan Women, Women Create International stands with you as you fight for your freedom. At each event we will showcase your poetry, activism and prose & continue to tell your stories, and we share support networks, help & accounts with our sisters. #UntilEveryWomanIsFree
Please write a short letter for the women and girls living in Afghanistan on the occasion of March 8, International Women’s Day. We will publish these letters on Substack and here so Afghan women can read them and feel supported.
This will also give Afghan women a space where

Be sure to check out @Vaishax 's interview with Tinsel, premiering 5pm UK time. Her work has been brave, pioneering and like many in the fight, has cost her dearly, often doing this crucial work on a shoestring. That's why Vaishnavi Sundar is one of our #IWDSheroes
On IWD (8th March), watch the premiere of @transwidows founder Tinsel's story - 5pm UK time. Had to pause posting whole stories due to my hard drive failure. Very pleased to resume the series, & so happy it is Tinsel's. Set a reminder here: https://t.co/ptKC4jb8cL Share/support.

Incredible find!
A beautifully embroidered banner made by UK suffragettes in their workshops was recently found stowed away in a little charity shop in Leeds. The once-forgotten item sold at auction for £13,600 #WomensArt #PostersAndBannersWeek

Outrageous, there is still a massive problem in the arts that disproportionately affects women:
Poet retweets JK Rowling and pro-women's rights posts, so gets her work dropped from a magazine with a £32K grant from the Arts Council, because of her social media posts. When she complained: "The Arts Council dismissed her complaint, insisting it had not found a breach of their
