Heute gab es Grund, zu feiern. Wir sind mit dem #Geschichtswettbewerb des Bundespräsidenten im Saarland in die Landespreisverleihungen gestartet. Das Thema "Grenzen in der #Geschichte" war hier eine Steilvorlage für viele. Wir gratulieren allen ausgezeichneten Teilnehmenden.

This was one of the rare positive news in international politics over the last few days. Siarhei Tskikhanouskyj is finally free! I know that over 1000 political prisoners are still behind bars in #Belarus under the dictatorship of Lukashenko, but let´s feel happy for a moment.
Thank you for all the wonderful messages of love and support! ❤️. After 5 years apart, it's only our second day together as a family again. Siarhei is full of energy, and I’m so impressed with his strength. The moment he was released, he returned to the fight for freedom. ✊

I strongly recommend this🧵. It illustrates to what extend colonial suppression & violence have been and still are part of Russia´s DNA. #Estonia, #Latvia & #Lithuania were forced to painfully learn this lesson in the past. And #Ukraine is suffering from Moscow´s colonial war now.
