@ellencarmichael Look at your containers if it is pyrex instead of PYREX then you have tempered glass which is known to explode. Older PYREX is made with different material.

@zanshi1 @JohnEkdahl @ellencarmichael Truth be told even that's not a good marker for non-borosilicate glass because Corning started using soda-lime glass in the 40s occasionally, but if it's made post 1975 or so: almost certainly NOT borosilicate.

Right now at my university (@TheNewSchool). Students blocking all entrances/exits to the academic buildings chanting “Israel go to hell” “long live the intifada”. Campus security doing nothing to stop these protests. As a Jewish student I do not feel safe on my campus.
