Wrong. People need to toughen up. If you get stabbed enough times, eventually you will develop calluses and become stab-proof. I encourage my children to get stabbed and shot daily. All of them have died, but its because they weren't trying hard enough.
It's not surprising that people committing awful attacks recently on public transit have a history of awful behavior. The answer isn't to make solo driving the only transportation option, it's to deal with the small number of violent criminals.

@Ben3adi3 @adampnathan @DanielLurie Agree. I'm a bicyclist, so by virtue of that fact, I am inherently morally superior. Driving is an act of violence against the planet. All of Market St should be converted to a wildlife sanctuary with elephants, lions, and Grey whales. That's how you revitalize bizness corridors.

Dogs are a nuisance and should all be euthanized or their owners pay heavy carbon taxes. The average dog is responsible for over a billion tons of carbon emissions EACH YEAR. Children who don't want their dogs euthanized should also be euthanized, as should the parents YIMBY!!!
