You can't beat a bit of Birmingham blossom! It's that time of year again, when Oozells Square, outside @ikongallery in Birmingham city centre, springs to life with glorious pink cherry blossom. Beloved by bees, birds and Brummies alike, it's well worth paying it a visit!

An out of this world art installation can now be found at @millenniumpoint! "Gaia" comes with an important environmental message too! Artist Luke Jerram hopes that seeing Earth as if from space will highlight its beauty and fragility, inspiring viewers to look after our only home

Are you noticing the changing of the seasons? We certainly are! Autumn is a wonderful time for walks in the wild, full of colour and interest, with migrant birds returning and deer rutting, it's worth the wait each year!

Every spring, Oozells Square, outside @ikongallery in Birmingham city centre erupts with the life and colour of cherry blossom. The Japanese micro-season sakura hajimete saku (櫻始開), meaning "first cherry blossoms" lasts from 26 to 30 March - this is a little slice of our own.
