With the right support, development opportunities, leadership and ambition anyone can progress in healthcare where talents are recognised and nourished. Be the change you want to see. Grow your own talents through apprenticeship and you will retain nurses. #WeNursingAssociates.

They are registered Nursing Associates who topped up to become registered nurses. Just like many other TNA/NA they have already wealth of experience in healthcare. I know a registered NA who is top Band 6 in private care management. It does NOT stop you from progressing as NA πŸ’™.

So uplifting and inspirational to hear from a senior nursing academic and programme leader about the first cohort of Registered Nursing Associates and their current progression with one of them being a Band 7 and another a Band 6 ITU. This is what happens when you grow talents ✨.

If you feel bullied, time to speak about it is immediately. Write down all that has happens and keep a diary with dates. Speak to your line manager, practice development nurse, university, union or Freedom to Speak Up Guardian. Please don't suffer in silence. Your voice matters.
