We’re really proud of our amazing team who have delivered over 1,000 parcels this week, but as ever, longing and working for the day this response isn’t needed. Thank you to everyone who donated or volunteered!.
So we have packed and delivered 1030 parcels with last few going out door now. 27 tonnes food given away. How sad in 2022 we had to do this but thanks to amazing staff and volunteers for all your efforts over 5 days. @WaterlooFB @VauxhallFB @cpfoodbank @BrixtonFoodbank Well done.

We’re asking you to hold any donations until the new year to enable us to focus on getting emergency Christmas foodbank parcels to local people next week.

Keeping benefits in line with the cost of living is vital to #StopUKPoverty . After the #UniversalCreditCut in October we should be acting to better support those claiming UC - not leaving them behind as inflation rates soar.
A second cut to benefits less than six months after the £20 cut to #UniversalCredit is unthinkable. Benefits must keep pace with the rising cost of essentials – this means increasing benefits by 7% in April to match inflation. Read more, here:
