Being honest wakatime is one of the apps that help me stay productive, I’ve been using it steadily for at least 2 years now, though I don’t think how long you code in a day doesn’t mean how productive that day was. But it motivates me in its own way.

The wakatime plugin for @claudeai Code is great. I spend less time in the actual IDE (reviews and diffs etc) these days, with most of my time NLP coding/refining in Claude Code, but I could never tell how much time. Now I get more granular data.

@WakaTime dashboard is so cool, it has been more than a couple of years using it, and I keep track of my performance each day, one of the best code editor integrations so far..

AI generated code is only good for showing me the wrong solution and getting me to think about all the ways it messed up and all the bugs, effectively forcing me to find the correct implementation and write the code myself instead of procrastinating.

@varletint Hmmm... My wakatime says 10hrs 23mins in the pass 7 days of which Wed-Fri last week tops the chart—did about 2hrs+ for each day.
